4. Centralise the Functional Requirement Management
CoreSafety® centralises the functional requirements for safety critical elements and performance monitoring of Risk-Based Process Safety Management System by KPI within the organisation.
Details
CoreSafety® converts risk assessment outputs into a cloud hazard management ledger suitable for equipment management. Risk is continuously updated as maintenance/function test results are entered. The system, developed from a UK nuclear industry-proven ‘Fault Schedule’ format, registers initiators, safeguards and consequences, and supports consulting for RBPS/PSM, HIRA (HAZOP/LOPA) facilitation and competency development. Users access via internet browser with ID/PW; management targets and KPIs can be registered and monitored to deploy requirements across sites.
Achievements and examples
CoreSafety® is used in a petrochemical plant who is modifying his PSM to risk-based.
Risk assessment data, which is often localised within an organisation, is effectively utilised as risk profile data for operation and asset integrity management through CoreSafety®.
CoreSafety® can be used for a wide range of purposes, such as checking at shift handover meetings, checking the impact of risk scenarios on management of change and work permit applications, etc., and assuming specific accident scenarios during emergency drills.
